Facilities

Our school is equipped with a range of specialist facilities designed to support the learning, development, and well-being of our students.

We have 17 low-arousal classrooms designed to create a calm and structured learning environment. These classrooms minimize sensory distractions, providing a space where students can focus, feel safe, and engage with learning at their own pace.

We also have one fully equipped kitchen and two spacious dining halls, ensuring that mealtimes are accessible and comfortable for all students. For hands-on learning, we have a Design and Technology (DT) room, where students take part in cooking lessons, developing essential life skills in a structured and supportive setting.

For physical education and movement activities, we have a large PE hall, which is divided into two sections—one of which houses two permanent trampolines, offering excellent opportunities for sensory regulation and gross motor skill development. In addition, students benefit from four outdoor playgrounds, providing ample space for recreation, social interaction, and physical activity. To enhance our PE curriculum, we also utilize local swimming facilities, including Everyone Active, Westway, and Kensington Leisure Centre, where students can participate in swimming lessons in an accessible and supportive environment.

For sensory and therapeutic needs, we have a dedicated sensory area, which includes a Body Shop and a soft play area, designed to provide calming and engaging sensory experiences. Our Water Play Room and AV Room are currently undergoing refurbishment to further enhance our provision for sensory learning and interactive experiences.

Our facilities are continuously evolving to meet the needs of our students, ensuring they have access to a safe, engaging, and well-equipped learning environment.
