The Pupil Premium is an additional government grant provided to schools to help address underlying inequalities and raise the academic achievement of the following groups of learners:
- Looked After Children – pupils who have been in the care of the local authority for more than six months
- Children eligible for Free School Meals at any point in the past six years (this is separate from the Universal Infant Free School Meals offer)
At Ormiston Queensmill Academy, we are committed to ensuring that every young person has the opportunity to succeed, regardless of their background. We believe there should be no barriers to learning and that all students can achieve success in their own unique way.
